Sophie regularly brings music to life for general audiences, giving pre-concert talks, writing programme notes and articles, presenting young people's concerts, and leading workshops. Her aim is always to reveal the story behind the music in an engaging and entertaining way.
Over the past few years she has delivered talks for the BBC, European Opera Centre, Hallam Sinfonia, Hallé, Imperial College Concert Society, Sheffield Recorded Music Society, Showroom Cinema, and the University of the Third Age.
